On July 25th , the Kick In for Springfield Schools organization is holding two events for the purpose of raising money for the Springfield Public Schools. We will kick off the day with a softball tournament to be held at Forest Park. Our night time activities kick off at 6:00 PM with a big concert featuring Danny Klein, of the J Giels Band and his “Full House” Band and The Bay City Rollers featuring Ian Mitchell. Our opening acts will include the Wanderers and Cover 2 Cover. In between, we will feature opening acts, side shows, clowns, face painting, acrobats, fire eaters, merchant tents and lots of food and fun activities for kids and adults.
We look to the business community and the general public for support of these events as it’s an effort that will raise all of our hopes for the future. As Father Flanagan once said “When you help a child today, you write the history of tomorrow”. No truer words were ever spoken.
Our current sponsor list includes: The Republican, ABC40/ FOX6, The Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce, Rock102 WAQY, PC Tech Services, Palmer Paving and Am B Care Ambulance Service. We would love to add your company as a sponsor or to our Merchant Sales Tent.
We have structured our contribution levels in an effort to make it possible for even the smallest of businesses or individuals to help out.
“Platinum Level” sponsorship will be $15,000.
Our platinum level sponsor will receive mention and logo presentation in our Public Service Announcements to run on ABC 40 / FOX 6 and Rock 102 and will have a prominent stage side ten foot banner and a ten foot banner at the entry way, as well as, exposure in all print media ads. Additionally, you will receive a full page add in our program, 25 free show tickets, a $4.00 discount on ticket prices and a $125 discount on softball teams entry fees.
“Gold Level” sponsorship will be $10,000.
Our “Gold Level” sponsor will receive mention in print media ads, 2, six foot banners located throughout the event, a full page ad in our program and 20 free show tickets, a $3.00 discount on ticket prices and a $100 discount on softball team entry fees.
“Silver Level” sponsorship will be $5,000
Our “Silver Level” sponsors will receive a six foot banner located throughout the venue, half page ad in our program, 15 free show tickets, $2.50 discount on ticket prices and a $75 discount on softball entry fees.
“Bronze Level” sponsorship will be $2,500
Our “Bronze Level” sponsorship will receive 2 three foot banner located throughout the venue, a quarter page ad in our program, 10 free tickets, $2.00 discount on ticket prices and a $50.00 discount on softball entry fees.
“Corporate Sponsorship” will be $1000
Our “Corporate Level” sponsors will receive a merchants table, two lawn signs and six show tickets.
“Friends of Springfield Schools” Sponsorship will be $500
Our “Friends Level” sponsors will receive six tickets to the show and 2 lawn signs to be displayed throughout the event.
“Family” Sponsorship will be $150
Our “Family” sponsors will receive four tickets to the show and 1 lawn sign to be displayed throughout the event.
“Individual” Donation will be $75
Our Individual Donation will receive 2 Tickets to the show.
Merchant Tables - $250 PER SPOT, ALL DAY
Tickets for the show will be $15.00. Children under 12 are free. All tickets sold by our sponsors will be at the appropriate rate of discount. Books of tickets will be in blocks of 10.
The softball tournament will be a “One Pitch”, double elimination format with entry fees of $250.00 per team. The winning team will receive the “Mayor’s Cup” and will have their name etched onto the trophy. Refreshments will be sold on site.
